The other morning I found myself inexplicably awake at 5:00 in the morning. Still not sure what inspired me to go shoot a picture of the library right then, but I’ve stopped sweating about motivations I have at that hour of the day. Anyway, took about 45 minutes for the sun to get high enough to cast just the light I was looking for on the scene.

    • Yes it is. There are a lot of sculptures popping up around town after we suffered 135 MPH straight line winds last July. It’s estimated the town lost 75% of its trees. There’s a guy making quite a business out of making the leftover trunks into works of art.
