Prairie Flower
On my way to a business meeting the other day I pulled off to see what I could find on some random country roads a little after sunrise. I’ve been trying to give myself an extra half hour or so on these trips to have an opportunity to look for photos when the light is at its best.
One of the things I came across was a bed of wild prairie flowers. They are really tiny things, actually, but I was able to isolate this one and get a nice detailed closeup, while getting a couple of splashes of color from some others in the background. I did adjust the luminence on the yellow and orange to darken the background and help the flower seem to shine out as if bathed in its own special light source.

Outstanding depth of field. Nice Shot!
Very pretty! Love it!
This is beautiful! It reminds me of our sky blue chicory in shape.
Beautiful photo. Nice light.
