Rolling Into The Country

Rolling Into The Country

f/25, 0.6, ISO-100, 27mm

Something a little different for me. I’ve played around with sepia before but never to this extent. I had a good shot laying around in the camera but it needed to be stylized somehow in order to transform the image from a standard snapshot into something that really draws the eye. I visualized something from the late 1800s, since exposure settings I used were similar to what would have been available back then. Rather than add grain to the image artificially as I’ve done in the past, I instead decided to oversharpen it, particularly since much of the detail in the trees was lost.
