A sunrise I captured on the way to work this morning. This is straight out of the camera, no retouching at all, other than to resize it down to 1024. Tonight I’ll see about editing the photo to add some finishing touches, and I’ll post the results here and let you all judge whether I do more harm than good in Lightroom :)

Oh, what a beautiful morning . . .
It was indeed beautiful. I was kind of annoyed because I was already late for work and just had time to fire off about 4 shots. It was cold and I was shaking and 1/40 with a handheld shot left me with an image less sharp than I wanted. I didn’t have a tripod with me to use if I had wanted to, but I wish I’d taken the f-stop down to 4.5 and pushed the shutter to 1/80.
