Something I worked at this morning in my living room. This is mostly just an exercise for me. I wanted to see if I could capture the texture sharply, and I wanted to try some more things with my flash and my newly-acquired sync cord, which I’m enormously pleased with so far. This shot was taken about three feet from my front window with a flash mounted about 5 feet away, 45 degrees in front and with a white reflector used as a background. This is my first real attempt at a two-light source photograph.

You did great with your lighting ! Absolutely no reflections from the flash at all. Well done.
