Just Hangin’ Out

Just Hangin' Out

f/1.8, 1/60, ISO-800, 50mm

So here I am, shooting at f/1.8 again after just saying I should stay away from it unless absolutely necessary. Well, it was. I wanted desperately to avoid using the flash and turning out pictures like this. I’m glad I did in this case. The subject is sharp, looks natural, and was far enough away to still give me a reasonable depth of field. I am still undecided if I should cool down the temp in this photo a little bit, but for right now I kind of like the warm glow. What do you think?
