Family Christmas

I local family asked me for a traditional Christmas Card family portrait. Given my limited equipment, this was something of a challenge for me. The space was very tight, so that while I would have liked to use my 1.8 50mm for the shot, I needed wide angle and that limited me to my 18-55 at 3.5. Even that was challenging at 1/8″, especially with a rambunctious dog! I could have gone down further with the white balance, but I like the warmth in the picture, which suits these people very well. They are four of the warmest people I’ve every met.
